2. This appeal is preferred by the appellant against the judgment and award dated 20.01.2025 passed by M.A.C.T./Additional District Judge, Khatima in Motor Accident Claim Petition No.207 of 2021, whereby the Tribunal has allowed the claim petition and awarded a sum of Rs.2,62,784/- as compensation against the appellant Insurance Company with interest @ 6% per annum from of filing of the claim petition till the date of actual payment.

3. Issue notice to the respondents through ordinary and registered post acknowledgement due as well as by Email and WhatsApp, if available.

4. Steps to be taken within two weeks.

5. List on 12.08.2025 for hearing on admission.

6. As an interim measure, it is directed that till the next date of listing, the effect and operation of impugned judgment and award dated 20.01.2025 shall remain stayed provided the appellant deposits the entire awarded amount, adjusting the statutory amount, before the Tribunal concerned within two weeks with a direction to the Tribunal concerned to deposit this amount in the account opened in the name of the case.
