JUDGMENT :

(per Sri G. Narendar, C.J.) Heard Sri Parikshit Saini, learned counsel on behalf

of the appellant & Sri Sunil Khera, learned Deputy Advocate

General on behalf of the State.

2. The learned DAG submits that he has been

instructed to state that action has already been initiated on

the complaint of the appellant dated 22.03.2025; that the

Inquiry Officer has been appointed on 24.04.2025; and that

the preliminary inquiry would be completed within the

stipulated time.

3. It is pertinent to note that the Statute fixes a limit

of 15 days for the completion of the preliminary inquiry.

4. In that view of the matter, the submission of the

learned DAG is placed on record that the preliminary inquiry

would be completed within the stipulated time.

5. Placing the submission of learned DAG on record,

the Special Appeal stands disposed off. It is directed that

post the completion of the preliminary inquiry, the authorities

may endeavour to take action, as expeditiously as possible,

at any rate, within an outer limit of four weeks from the date

of completion of the preliminary inquiry.

As a sequel thereto, the miscellaneous petitions, if

any pending, shall stand closed.
