Mr. Shivam Singh, learned counsel holding brief of Ms. Medha Pande, learned counsel for the revisionist in CRLR No.682/2024.
2. Mr. S.C. Dumka, learned AGA along with Ms. Sweta Badola Dobhal, learned Brief Holder for the State.
3. Pursuant to the judgment and order dated 02.12.2023 passed by learned Judicial Magistrate, Rudrapur, District Udham Singh Nagar, the revisionists-Mohammad Asif and Mohammad Aarif were convicted and sentenced for a period of six months' simple imprisonment with a fine of Rs.10,50,000/- with default stipulation of further one month of additional simple imprisonment. The appeal there-against was also met the same fate and the judgment and order passed by learned trial court was affirmed.
4. It is contended by learned counsel for the revisionist in CRLR No.682/2024 that revisionist-Mohammad Asif has undergone the sentenced awarded by learned trial court and submits that the criminal revision has rendered infructuous for the said reason.
5. Learned State Counsel submits that he needs a week's time to get the statement made by learned counsel for the revisionist verified from the jail authorities.
6. He may do so within a week.
