                               Hon'ble Manoj Kumar Tiwari, J.

Mr. Tushar Upadhyaya, Advocate for the petitioners.

Mr. N.S. Pundir, Deputy Advocate General for the State.

2. Since common questions of law and fact are involved in these petitions, therefore they are heard together and are being decided by a common judgment. However, for the sake of brevity, facts of Writ Petition No. 2490 of 2024 (SS) alone are being discussed and considered.

3. Petitioner was appointed as PTA Teacher against substantive vacancy on the post of Lecturer (Physics) in a Government aided institution; ad hoc status was given to him on 26.05.2009 and his services were regularised on 17.12.2015.

4. According to the petitioner, he is entitled to get certain benefit including selection grade for the ad hoc services rendered before regularisation; however, said benefit is not being paid to him. By means of Writ Petition No. 2490 of 2024 (SS), petitioners have sought the following reliefs:

"i) a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to grant 2025:UHC:11139 selection grade to the petitioners with effect from 27.05.2019.

ii. a writ, order or direction declaring the order dated 4-9-2019 passed by the respondent no. 3 as illegal, arbitrary and contrary to the G.O. dated 23.9.2002."

5. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that representations made by petitioner are falling on deaf ears and no decision is being taken.

6. The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of with liberty to petitioners to make fresh representation. If petitioners make such representation within three weeks from today, decision thereupon shall be taken within four months thereafter.
