Mr. V.K. Kohli, learned Senior Counsel assisted by Mr. Kanti Ram Sharma, learned counsel for the appellant.

2. Present appeal is preferred against the judgment and award dated 09.07.2025 passed by Employees Compensation Commissioner/Chief Judicial Magistrate, Chamoli in E.C.A. Case No. 10 of 2024, whereby learned Commissioner has awarded compensation of ₹15,79,625/- along with simple interest @12% per annum in favour of the respondents/claimants.

3. Learned counsel for the appellant would submit that the impugned award is unsustainable in the eyes of law as the same has been passed by the concerned Commissioner without considering the facts and evidence available on record.

8. Till the next date of listing, the execution of the impugned judgment and award dated 09.07.2025 passed by the Employees' Compensation Commissioner /Chief Judicial Magistrate, Chamoli in E.C.A. Case No. 10 of 2024 shall remain stayed. It is made clear that the Commissioner concerned shall not disburse the awarded amount in favour of any of the parties without prior permission of this Court.
