The Court made the following:
JUDGMENT: (per Hon'ble The Chief Justice Sri Vipin Sanghi)
We are informed that after filing of this petition, the
petitioner has been paid the principal outstanding dues of
Rs.10,11,000/-.
2. The petitioner, who appears in-person, states that
the dues related to the period from March, 2021 onwards. He
submits that the respondents should also pay some interest
to compensate the loss suffered by him on account of
payment not made when due.
3. We find merit in this submission of the petitioner.
We direct the respondents to pay to the petitioner interest
@8% per annum on the outstanding dues from the time when
they became due till payment. The amount of outstanding
interest be disbursed within the next four weeks.
4. Petition stands disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
5. Pending application, if any, also stands disposed of.
