The challenge in the present proposed
Criminal Revision is to an ex-parte judgment dated
12.04.2023, passed by learned Judge, Family
Court, Haridwar in Original Suit No.250 of 2022,
"Smt. Rita Rothan vs. Preetam Singh Rana", by
which, the application, filed under Section 125 of
the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, has been
allowed ex-parte. Allowing the said application,
learned Judge has made a monthly allowance for
the maintenance of the respondent no.2, wife of
the proposed revisionist, at the rate of Rs.10,000/-
per month.
2. Heard Mr. Eshan Sachdeva, learned counsel
for the proposed revisionist through video
conferencing and Ms. Manisha Rana Singh, learned
AGA assisted by Mr. P.S. Uniyal, learned Brief
Holder for the State.
3. In the facts and circumstances of this case, it
would be appropriate to grant an opportunity of hearing to the respondent no.2 even before
passing any order on Admission.
4. Issue notice to the respondent no.2.
5. Steps to be taken within three days.
