                              JUDGMENT

According to the petitioners, they filed an application under Section 20-A of Land Revenue Act, 1901, which is pending before District Magistrate, Dehradun and is registered as Case No. 1 of 2020-

21.

2. By means of this writ petition, petitioners have sought a direction to the District Magistrate, Dehradun to expedite disposal of the said case.

3. Having regard to the facts of the case, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the District Magistrate, Dehradun to make endeavour to decide Case No. 1 of 2020-21 within nine months. Unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties shall be avoided.
