These appeals have been listed for delivery of judgment. Post publication of the cause list, a Misc. Application No. 14551 of 2022 has been filed by A-1 informing that A-2 has died on 25.01.2022.

According to the application, the death of A-2 may be taken on record and necessary action, as per law, in Criminal Appeal Nos. 138 of 2019 and 139 of 2019 may be taken.

Learned Special Public Prosecutor for the CBI would submit that although, he does not doubt the information given by the A-1, but still the factum of death of A-2 is to be verified.

Let CBI verify, the statement given in Misc. Application No. 14551 of 2022 by A-1.

The CBI shall file a report with regard to the verification or the factum of death of A-2 on or before 24.02.2022.

List all these appeal on 28.02.2022 at 10:15 AM as the first case.
