                           JUDGMENT

Writ Petition (S/S) No. 319 of 2016 filed by the petitioners was disposed of with a direction to the Secretary, Ministry of Environment, Forest & climate Change, Government of India to consider the recommendation made by Director, Wildlife Institute of India and pass appropriate order thereupon within one month.

2. An affidavit has been filed by Mr. C.K. Mishra, Secretary, Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change, Government of India. In paragraph no. 3 of the said affidavit, it has been stated that after examination of the matter by the Ministry, a decision was taken to grant age relaxation to contractual employees of

Wildlife Institute of India as and when the regular vacancy occurs. The communication dated 24.05.2018 issued by Ministry to the Director, Wildlife Institute of India, Dehradun has been brought on record as Annexure-1 to the aforesaid affidavit.

3.        In   view    of       the     stand     taken   in
paragraph no. 3 of the                aforesaid   affidavit,
Contempt Petition is closed.            Contempt notice

issued to respondent no. 1 is hereby discharged.
