                            JUDGMENT

Writ Petition (S/S) No. 2186 of 2016 filed by the petitioner was disposed of with a direction to Director, Sanskrit Education to take final decision on the recommendation made by the Selection Committee, in favour of the petitioner. A compliance affidavit has been filed by Mr. R.K. Kunwar, Director, Sanskrit Education (respondent no. 1). In paragraph no. 3 of the said affidavit, it has been stated that the Director, Sanskrit Education has passed final order on 02.05.2018, in terms of the direction issued by Writ Court. The final order passed on 02.05.2018 has been brought on record as Annexure-1 to the compliance affidavit.

2. Since the only direction was to consider the recommendation of the Selection Committee, therefore, nothing survives in this Contempt Petition.

3. Accordingly, the Contempt Petition is closed. Contempt notices issued to respondents are hereby discharged.
