                          JUDGMENT

Writ Petition (M/S) No. 2491 of 2016 filed by the petitioner was disposed of with a direction to the Competent Authority to take decision on petitioner's representation.

2. Learned Standing Counsel has informed the Court that such decision has been taken on 04.04.2018, which fact has not been disputed by learned counsel for the petitioner, however, he submits that petitioner's claim for compensation has been rejected.

3. In such view of the matter, the Contempt Petition is closed. Contempt notices issued to the respondents are hereby discharged. However, petitioner shall be at liberty to challenge the order, whereby his representation has been rejected, before the appropriate forum.
