                       JUDGMENT

Writ Petition (S/B) No. 419 of 2017 filed by the petitioner was disposed of by a Division Bench of this Court with direction to Managing Director, Uttarakhand State Cooperative Federation to take decision on petitioner's representation, as per law, within three weeks and there was a further direction upon her to take appropriate action on the basis of the decision so taken. In the said writ petition, petitioner had sought a direction to the Competent Authority to calculate and release his gratuity, earned leave and other admissible dues, on the basis of Last Pay Certificate.

2. Mr. Subhash Upadhyay, learned counsel appearing for respondent has made a statement that pursuant to the direction issued by Division Bench of this Court, all the dues, which were payable by Uttarakhand State Cooperative Federation, have been paid and nothing remains to be paid by Uttarakhand State Cooperative Federation.

3. This fact has not been disputed by learned counsel for the petitioner, who also submits that nothing remains to be paid by Uttarakhand State Cooperative Federation.

4. In such view of the matter, nothing survives in this Contempt Petition.

5. Accordingly, Contempt Petition is closed. Contempt notice issued to respondent is hereby discharged.

6. However, petitioner shall be at liberty to approach the appropriate forum, if any dues are yet to be paid by U.P. Cooperative Federation Ltd., which was petitioner's employer, before State Reorganisation.
