                       JUDGMENT

Petitioner's admission to M.Sc. (Botany) Course was cancelled by Principal, Radhey Hari Government Post Graduate College, Kashipur vide order dated 02.05.2018. Thus, feeling aggrieved, petitioner approached this Court seeking the following reliefs:

"(i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Certiorari quashing the cancellation order dated 02.05.2018 passed by the respondent No. 2 against the petitioner challenging the admission in M.Sc. Ist year (Annexure No. 6 to the writ petition).

(ii) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus staying the effect and operation of cancellation order dated 02.05.2018 passed by respondent No. 2.

(iii) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondent No. 2 to issue the admit card to the petitioner provisionally for appearing in the examination of M.Sc. final (4th semester) is to going to be scheduled since 18.05.2018 of session of 2017-18."

2. A Co-ordinate Bench of this Court passed an interim order on 11.05.2018, whereby effect & operation of the impugned cancellation order dated 02.05.2018 was stayed and it was further provided that petitioner shall be permitted to appear in the examinations.

3. More than three years have gone by since passing of the interim order. Petitioner must have completed the M.Sc. Course by now.

4. In such view of the matter, the writ petition has become infructuous by efflux of time.

5. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous.
