                        JUDGMENT

According to the petitioner, he filed an application under Section 34 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 challenging the award rendered by the Competent Authority, Land Acquisition Act under Section 3G (5) of National Highways Act, 1956.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that an application filed by him in the year 2016, which is registered as Misc. Case No. 227 of 2016 has not been decided and he has sought a direction to the concerned Court to expedite hearing of the said case.

3. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the writ petition is disposed of with a request to the District Judge,

Haridwar to expedite hearing of Misc. Case No. 227 of 2016 and decide the same as early as possible, but preferably within six months from the date of production of certified copy of this order.
