JUDGMENT
Petitioner has challenged the order dated 21.03.2021 passed by District Magistrate, Udham Singh Nagar, whereby her representation for extension of her contract for parking with 10 percent enhanced rate has been rejected.
2. In the rejection order, District Magistrate has given cogent reasons for rejecting petitioner's representation and it has been stated that during lockdown also, petitioner was able to operate her parking, as patients and their family members used to visit the District Hospital. It has further been stated that process for grant of fresh contract have been initiated on 17.03.2021.
3. Since petitioner was granted contract for the period 01.02.2020 to 28.02.2021, which has expired and extension of one month has already been given to the petitioner, therefore, this Court does not
find any illegality or perversity in the order passed by the District Magistrate. Petitioner has no legally enforceable right to have the contract extended for another one year.
4. In such view of the matter, writ petition fails and is hereby dismissed.
