This application has been filed under Section 5 of the Limitation
Act, 1963, for condoning delay of 197 days in preferring the connected appeal
against the impugned judgment and order dated 27.02.2024, passed by the
learned Additional Judge, Family Court , Agartala, West Tripura in Case No.
TS(DIV) 362 of 2017.
It is seen from the office note dated 21.02.2025 that notice has
been duly served upon the sole respondent, despite that there is no
representation from the respondent.
Heard Mr. P. Majumder, learned counsel appearing for the
applicant.
For the reason stated in accompanying affidavit and the
averments made out during the course of arguments, delay caused in
preferring the appeal is condoned.
Accordingly, the interlocutory application stands allowed and
thus disposed of.
