HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE ARINDAM LODH Order 06/05/2024 Heard Mr. DC Roy, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. N. Majumder, learned counsel for the respondent-contemnors. It is submitted by Mr. Majumder, learned counsel for the respondents that an intra-court appeal has been preferred which was registered as W.A. 25 of 2024 alongwith a condonation petition for condoning the delay of 402 days in preferring the appeal.

Till today no order has been passed staying the operation of the judgment and order dated 06.01.2023 passed by this court in W.P(C) 144 of 2022. In view of this, I direct the respondents to obtain necessary order within a period of 2 weeks from today failing which the order dated 06.01.2023 has to be complied with by the respondent-contemnors within the next 7 days after expiry of 2 weeks time, that has been allowed by this court. List the matter on 27.05.2024.
