ORDER:

Heard Sri N. Janardhan Reddy, learned counsel for

the petitioners and Smt B. Vaijayanthi, learned Assistant

Government Pleader for Services-III for the respondents.

2. This writ petition is filed to set aside the Memo

No.8242/A/320/A1/HRm/VII/2017 dated 22.07.2017(p-1)

Circular Memo No.1206/476/A1/HRM/VII/2017

dated 13.10.2017 (p-2) and Memo

No.5/140/A1/HRM.VII/2019 dated 28.03.2019 (p-3)

issued by the respondent No.1 and declare the action of the

respondent Nos.3 to 5 in not considering the petitioners'

letters dated 26.09.2024 and 18.11.2024 for payment of

retirement benefits like encashment of earned/surrender

leave, gratuity along with interest, pro rata pension as

arbitrary and illegal.

3. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for

Services-III has produced Lr.No.A1/1236/2025

dated 26.03.2026 and submits that the respondents have

decided to pay the retirement benefits i.e., encashment of

earned leave and gratuity subject to the rules and

regulations of the Corporation to the redeployed employees

who previously worked in the Corporation vide Government

Memo No.1484/103/A1/HRM.VII/2025 dated 12.11.2025

of Finance (HRM.VII) Department and in pursuance of the

same, the respondent authorities have passed Bills, raised

token numbers for payment of Rs.14,30,350/- to each

petitioner and the same are pending before the Government

for approval. She further submits that as per priority

basis, the Government is releasing the amounts and

requested to pass appropriate order.

4. In view of the submission of the learned Assistant

Government Pleader, the Writ Petition is disposed of

directing the respondent authorities to release the amounts

to the petitioners as raised in their respective token

numbers within four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a

copy of this order. If the petitioners have any grievance

against the amounts to be paid by the respondents, they

are at liberty to question the same in appropriate

proceedings. No order as to costs.

5. Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending in this writ

petition, shall stand closed.
