WRIT PETITION No.20276 of 2013
ORDER:
This writ petition is filed aggrieved by the action of the
respondents in not absorbing the petitioners into the post of
sub-staff pursuant to their applications as per the judgment of
Apex Court in L.I.C. of India v. D.V.Anil Kumar 1, inspite of their
completing service of more than five years as required.
2. Heard Sri N.Prabhakar Reddy, learned counsel appearing
for the petitioners and Sri Bathula Raj Kiran, learned Standing
Counsel for L.I.C., appearing for the respondents.
3. Learned Standing Counsel for the respondent-
Corporation submits that in similar circumstances, this Court
dismissed WP.No.22641 of 2014 vide order dated 14.08.2023.
The same is not seriously disputed by learned counsel
appearing for the petitioners.
4. In view of the same, for the reasons alike in the order
dated 14.08.2023 passed by this Court in WP.22641 of 2014,
this Writ Petition is also dismissed. Miscellaneous petitions,
2011 SCC OnLine SC 1602
pending, if any, in this writ petition shall stand closed. No
costs.
