CRIMINAL REVISION CASE No.109 of 2023
JUDGMENT :
I.A.No.5 of 2023 was filed to record the compromise
between the parties.
This Court vide order dated 20.02.2023 directed the
Secretary, High Court Legal Services Committee, Telangana to
identify the parties and to record the compromise. Accordingly,
the statement of the accused/Revision petitioner, who is
undergoing conviction in Central Prison, Chanchalguda was
recorded by the Superintendent of Jail and it was in turn
transmitted to the Secretary, High Court Legal Services
Committee, Telangana and the High Court Legal Services
Committee has recorded the compromise of both the parties.
In view of the said compromise, this Criminal Revision
Case is disposed of setting aside the conviction passed against
revision petitioner/accused in C.C.No.62 of 2018 (old C.C
No.1432 of 2017), on the file of XI Special Magistrate,
Hyderabad, as confirmed in Crl.A.No.404 of 2019, dated
25.04.2022 on the file of Special Judge for Trial of Cases under
Essential Commodities Act-cum-III Additional Metropolitan
Sessions Judge, Hyderabad. The Superintendent, Central
Prison, Chanchalguda is directed to release the revision petitioner/accused forthwith, if he is not required in any other
case.
Pending miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand
closed.
