            WRIT PETITION No. 2239 of 2023


ORDER:

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a writ of

mandamus seeking to issue a direction to the respondents

to dispose of the Appeal filed by the petitioner dated

28.12.2021 for inter local district cadre transfer on the

ground of her being a single women.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the

petitioner has filed an Appeal on 28.12.2021 against the

impugned order dated 23.12.2021 for the change of local

cadre on the ground of her being a single women and that

she is taking care of her old aged parents, but the same has

not been considered by the respondents so far.

3. The learned Government Pleader for Services-I takes

notice and submits that the Appeal of the petitioner would

be disposed by the concerned authorities.

4. In the light of the Judgment of this Court in

W.P.No.9798 of 2022 dated 23.02.2022, this Writ Petition is

disposed of with a direction to the respondents to dispose of ::2::

the Appeal filed by the petitioner within a period of (4)

weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order by

taking into consideration that she is a divorced women/

single lady teacher. There shall be no order as to costs.

5. Miscellaneous applications, if any pending, shall also

stand closed.
