Judgement Date : 29 November, 2021
THE HON'BLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE SATISH CHANDRA SHARMA
AND
THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A. RAJASHEKER REDDY
WRIT PETITION (PIL) No.101 of 2018
ORDER: (Per the Hon'ble the Chief Justice Satish Chandra Sharma)
The dispute involved in this case stands concluded on
account of the judgment delivered by the Hon'ble Supreme
Court in the case of P. Rami Reddy vs. State of Andhra
Pradesh1.
Learned counsel for the petitioner has argued before
this Court that he has preferred a writ petition subsequently
before the Hon'ble Supreme Court and the same was
dismissed with liberty to approach the appropriate forum.
In the considered opinion of this Court, once the
controversy involved in the present matter stands concluded
by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in the case of P. Rami Reddy
(supra), the question of interference does not arise in the light
of the judgment of the Supreme Court.
Accordingly, the public interest litigation is dismissed.
Miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
There shall be no order as to costs.
