JUDGMENT: (Per the Hon'ble the Chief Justice Hima Kohli)

The present petition has filed by the petitioner challenging the

vires of the Telangana Public Security Act, 1992 on the ground that

the same is unconstitutional and violative of the Fundamental Rights

guaranteed to a citizen in the Constitution of India. The second relief

prayed for in the petition is to strike down G.O.Ms.No.73 dated

30.03.2021 issued by the State in respect of certain activities of the

named organization.

2. At the outset, learned Advocate General has informed this

court that G.O.Ms.No.73 dated 30.03.2021 has been revoked vide

G.O.Ms.No.122 dated 23.06.2021.

3. That being the position, the second relief does not survive. As

regards the first relief, we are not inclined to entertain the same in the

present petition, when the vires of the provisions of the Telangana

Public Security Act, 1992 have already been challenged by the very

same learned counsel who is appearing for the petitioner in the present

petition, in W.P.No.15104 of 2021, which petition, at his request, has

been adjourned to 23.08.2021. Liberty is granted to learned counsel

for the petitioner to urge all the pleas that may be available qua the

first relief, in the captioned writ petition.

4. The present writ petition is closed along with the pending

applications, if any.
