          CRIMINAL REVISION CASE No.1007 of 2008

JUDGMENT :

This criminal revision case is filed, aggrieved of the order dated

26.04.2008 in M.C.No.53 of 2006 on the file of Judge, Family Court,

Warangal, whereby, the learned trial Court has awarded the sum of

Rs.2,000/- per month to respondent No.1 herein towards maintenance

from the date of petition, on or before 15th of every month.

2. The revision petitioner contends in this revision that the trial

Court has granted excess amount towards maintenance without

considering the fact that the revision petitioner has already made fixed

deposits worth Rs.2,00,000/- in favour of respondent No.1 herein.

3. On perusal of the entire material on record, I am of the

considered view that the trial Court has passed the aforesaid order

granting maintenance @ Rs.2,000/- per month to respondent No.1,

after thoroughly considering the evidence on record and taking into

account the income from his employment. Therefore, I do not find

any illegality or infirmity in the order impugned, awarding

maintenance to respondent No.1 herein, who is his wife.

4. Accordingly, this criminal revision case is dismissed.

Pending miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed.
