Learned counsel for the respondents submits that in
pursuance of the advertisement dated 05.10.2016 the selection
for the post of Sub Inspector has been completed and the
appointments have been granted to the successful candidates,
therefore, no relief can be granted in the present writ petition.
Learned counsel for the petitioner is not in a position to
controvert the statements made by the learned counsel for the
respondents.

In view of the statements made by the counsel for the
respondents, nothing survives in the present writ petition.
Accordingly, the present writ petition is dismissed.
