Petitioner as well as complainant have filed joint application

under Section 482 Cr.P.C. read with Section 147 of NI Act along

with Section 320(8) Cr.P.C. in which it has been submitted that

parties have entered into an amicable settlement. Present

petitioner has paid whole amount due against her to the

respondent No. 2 and a compromise has taken place between the

parties. Affidavit has also been executed in this regard.

Now, the respondent No. 2 does not want to continue the

criminal proceedings against the petitioner. Deed of compromise

(2 of 2) [CRLR-1047/2021]

(affidavit) has also been annexed with the application. The

complainant is present in person in Court.

In view of compromise, the judgments of conviction and

sentence passed by learned trial court dated 15.04.2019 and

Appellate Court dated 04.01.2020, are set aside and quashed.

The petitioner is acquitted of the charge under Section 138

NI Act. The petitioner is in judicial custody. The petitioner is

directed to be released forthwith in this case if not wanted in any

other case.

The criminal revision petition stands disposed of.

All pending applications also stand disposed of.
