The matter comes up for consideration of application (IA
No.01/21) preferred on behalf of the respondents for early listing
of the writ petition.
The petitioner has claimed appointment on the post of
constable on the basis of the judgment passed by the learned
Single Bench of this Court in SBCWP No.12019/2012 (Jalam
Singh vs. State of Rajasthan & Ors.) decided on 19th
September, 2013. Vide aforesaid judgment, this Court has allowed
the SBCWP No.12019/2012 relying on the judgment passed in
SBCWP No.7824/2012 (Mahendra Kumar vs. State of
Rajasthan and Ors.) decided on 26.08.2013, whereby the State

Government had directed to provide relaxation to the candidates
for the period when vacancies were not advertised.
Mr. Anil Bissa, learned AGC appearing on behalf of the
respondents has submitted that the decision given by the learned
Single Judge in Mahendra Kumar's case (Supra) has already
been reversed by the Division Bench of this Court vide judgment
dated 25th March, 2014 passed in DB Special Appeal
No.1151/2013 (Rajasthan State Public Service Commission
vs. Mahendra Kumar and Ors.).
Having heard learned counsel for the respondents and after
going through the judgment dated 25th March, 2014 whereby the
Division Bench of this Court has already reversed the judgment
dated 26.08.2013 passed by the learned Single Bench in
Mahendra Kumar's case (Supra), nothing survives in this writ
petition.
Hence, this writ petition is dismissed.
The aforesaid application is disposed of accordingly.
