It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that

looking to the nature of the dispute raised in the writ petition, the

petitioners would be satisfied if a direction is issued to the

respondents to pay them wages/salary in terms of judgment in

State of Punjab & Ors. Vs. Jagjit Singh & Ors.: (2017) 1 SCC 148.

In view of the submissions made, the petition filed by the

petitioner is disposed of.

The petitioner may make a representation in this regard with

reference to the judgment in the case of Jagjit Singh (Supra).

It is expected of the respondents to deal with the same

appropriately and in case the petitioner is entitled, grant him relief

as prayed.

Needful may be done within a period of six weeks from the

date the representation is made by the petitioner.
