Learned counsel for the petitioner relies on the judgment

passed by the co-ordinate Bench of this court in the case of Rekha

Vijayvergiya Versus RPSC, SBCWP No.4098/2009 decided on

1.12.2010 wherein the Single Bench of this court has held that the

qualification of the B.E. (Information Technology) is required to be

declared qualified B.E. (Computer Science) and directed the

respondent-RPSC to consider the case of the petitioner for

appointment on the post of Lecturer (Computer Science).

                                         Learned     counsel     for    the     petitioner         also   submits   that

petitioner's candidature is being rejected only on the ground that

he has done B.E. in Information Technology and is thus eligible for

consideration for the post of Junior Instructor in terms of the

advertisement dated 25.4.2018.

Issue notice on the writ petition as well as stay application,

returnable within four weeks.

In the meanwhile, the candidature of the petitioner shall be

provisionally considered for the post of Junior Instructor

(Computer Operator and Programming Assistant).
