1. This order will dispose of a bunch of petitions mentioned
above, as similar issue, providing protection to the live-in couples with one
partner being married, had arisen out in the same.
2. Prayer in the present bunch of petitions is for grant of protection
to the couples living in live-in-relationship with one partner being married,
as enshrined under Article 21 of the Constitution of India. The issue
involved in the present petitions has been adjudicated by Hon'ble the
Division Bench of this Court in case of Yash Pal and another vs. State of
Haryana and others, in CRWP-4660-2021, decided on 09.09.2024.
3. Leaned counsel representing the petitioners have submitted
before this Court that the issue involved in the present criminal writ
petitions, is squarely covered by the ratio of judgment passed in Yash Pal's
case (supra). It is thus submitted that in view of the same, the present
petitions are liable to be disposed of.
4. Learned counsel for the State of Punjab, Haryana and UT,

Chandigarh as well as counsel for the private respondents have no objection,
if the present petitions be disposed of in view of the law laid down by
Hon'ble Division Bench of this Court in Yash Pal's case (supra).
5. As Hon'ble Division Bench of this Court has already
adjudicated the issue involved in the present cases and both the sides have
also prayed that the present cases be disposed of in view of the law laid
down, the present petitions are disposed of in view of the detailed order
passed by Hon'ble Division Bench in Yash Pal's case (supra).
