1. The present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the

Constitution of India inter alia seeking a writ in the nature of Mandamus

for directing respondent No.1 to decide the Revision Petition bearing

ROR No.15 of 2023 titled as "Man Singh Vs. Deputy Commissioner,

Kurukshetra and others" in a time bound manner.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner inter alia submits that the

petitioner would be satisfied if directions are issued to the concerned

Authority for deciding the Revision Petition bearing ROR No.15 of 2023

filed by the petitioner, in a time bound manner.

3. On advance service of copy of petition, Ms. Upasana Dhawan,

AAG, Haryana, appears on behalf of respondent-State.

HIMANI GUPTA 4. Learned State counsel on instructions from Mr. Amit Kumar,

Reader, submits that presently the Revision Petition bearing ROR No.15 of

2023 filed by the petitioner is listed for hearing on 15.10.2024. It is further

submitted that in all probability the aforesaid revision petition shall be

decided by the concerned Officer on the date fixed i.e. 15.10.2024, and in

any case, not beyond two months thereafter.

5. Learned counsel for the petitioner, keeping in view the aforesaid

submissions made by learned State counsel, submits that he does not intend

to press the instant writ petition any further, at this stage.

6. Keeping in view the submissions made by learned counsel for

the parties, the present writ petition is disposed of accordingly.

7. All the pending application(s), if any, shall also stand closed.
