Commissioner, Hoshiarpur, Punjab) to consider and decide the aforesaid
legal notice dated 25.06.2024 (Annexure P-7).
3. On advance service of copy of petition, Mr. Navneet Singh,
Senior Deputy Advocate General, Punjab, appears on behalf of the
respondents-State and opposes issuance of notice of motion. He further
submits that respondent No.3 (Chief Sales Commissioner-cum-Deputy
Commissioner, Hoshiarpur, Punjab)/competent authority shall take decision
either way, on the pending legal notice dated 25.06.2024 (Annexure P-7)
within a period of three months from today.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner, keeping in view the
aforesaid submissions made by learned counsel for the respondents-State,
submits that he does not intend to press the instant writ petition any further,
at this stage.
5. Keeping in view the submissions made by learned counsel
for the parties and without commenting on the merits of the case,
the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to No.3
(Chief Sales Commissioner-cum-Deputy Commissioner, Hoshiarpur,
Punjab)/competent authority to consider and decide legal notice dated
25.06.2024 (Annexure P-7) by way of passing a speaking order, after
affording due opportunity of hearing to all the concerned parties, within a
period of three months from today.
6. All the pending application(s), if any, shall also stand closed.
