Challenge in the present petition is to Memo No. 2008-A

dated 07.05.2024 issued by respondent No.2, whereby the claim of the

petitioner for the release of the assured and sanctioned investment

incentive subsidy under the Industrial Policy, 1996 alongwith upto date

interest which was sanctioned vide letter dated 04.08.1998 has been

rejected.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner

contends that the similar issue has already been dealt with by this Court

in CWP-19007-2002 titled as "Balak Gases Oxygen Gas Plant versus

State of Punjab and others" alongwith other connected cases vide

judgment dated 20.05.2011, and the controversy in the present case is

clearly covered by the said judgment.
