The instant revision has been filed challenging the impugned judgment dated 01.09.2022 passed by the Ld. Additional Sessions Judge, UT, Chandigarh whereby rejecting the appeal of the revisionist filed against judgment of conviction dated 02.03.2020, passed by Ld. JMIC, UT, Chandigarh convicting and sentencing the revisionist under Section 138 of Negotiable Instruments Act.
Counsel for the parties are ad-idem that the matter stands compromised and today, as per this compromise, last instalment of Rs.5 lacs also stands paid by way of two demand drafts amounting to Rs.2 lac and Rs.3 lac to the counsel for the petitioner. Photocopy of the same has been produced. The same is taken on record as Mark "X".
In view of the above, instant revision petition stand disposed off
as the complainant has agreed to compound the offence on reciept of cheque
amount.
