1. After arguing on the merits of the case, learned counsel for the

petitioner prays for withdrawal of the present petition with a direction that the petitioner shall surrender before the Court below and if the petitioner applies for bail, the same should be decided expeditiously.

2. In light of the above, without commenting on the merits of the case at this stage and keeping all the arguments made by the counsel open to the petitioner, the present petition is dismissed as withdrawn with a direction to the trial Court that in case, the petitioner surrenders and files an application for grant of bail, the same be decided expeditiously and

preferably within one week on its own merits and in accordance with law.
