Prayer in the present petition is for quashing the order dated

dated 13.10.2020 (Annexure P-3) passed by respondent No.4 whereby

respondent No.4 instead of taking action against the panches i.e.

respondents No.7 to 9, who without any reasonable cause have failed to

attend the two consecutive meetings and even due to the political reasons,

they are not cooperating with petitioner in the development works of

village and thereby they have earned disqualification under Section 20 of

the Punjab Panchayati Raj Act, 1994 however, respondent No.4 without

taking action against them in contravention to provision of Punjab

Panchayati Raj Act and direction issued by this Court in CWP No.22998

of 2019 dated 30.08.2019 has appointed the Administrator, which is

illegal. Further prayer has been made directing respondent No.2 to adhere

to the provisions of Section 20 of the Punjab Panchayati Raj Act,1994

and the directions given in the judgment and thereby order the

suspension/removal of respondents No.7 to 9, who have not only failed to

attend the meetings of Gram Panchayat for two consecutive months, but

without any reasonable cause, they have not agreed for the execution of

the development works.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he may be

allowed to withdraw the present petition.

Allowed as prayed for.

Dismissed as withdrawn.
