This petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of directions to respondents No.1 and 2 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners at the hands of private respondents and to restrain the private respondents No. 4 to 8 not to interfere and not to harass the petitioners.

2. Reply by way of affidavit of the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Ratia, Fatehabad on behalf of respondents No. 1 to 3 has been filed by the learned counsel representing the State of Haryana.

3. Without commenting upon the validity of the live-in- relationship, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 to consider the representation dated 07.06.2023 (Annexure P-3) and take requisite action, if so warranted, as per the facts and circumstances of

the matter in accordance with law.
