1. The present petition has been filed for directing respondent

Nos.2 and 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners at the behest of respondent Nos.4 to 6.

2. Status report filed by the State demonstrates that the respondent-authorities recorded the statement of respondent Nos.4, 5 and 6 and the petitioners on 12.06.2013, wherein they have submitted that they would not interfere in the lives of the petitioners and not harm them in any manner.

3. In light of the above, the present petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioners to approach the authorities, if such situation arises.

4. It is, however, made clear that this order shall not be construed

as any stamp on the alleged marriage of the parties or any confirmation to

their acts and deeds. This order shall not operate as any alibi or defence to any proceedings which might be pending or may arise against the petitioners. Although, the State is duty bound to protect its citizens and

only with the said motive, the present order/directions have been passed.
