1. The present petition has been filed by the petitioner under

Section 439 Cr.P.C for grant of bail pending trial in case FIR No.71 dated 04.05.2014 registered under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471, 473, 474 & 411 IPC at Police Station North, Chandigarh.

2. The custody certificate filed by the learned counsel for the UT, is taken on record.

3. Perusal of the record shows that the petitioner was abscounding from the process of law at the earlier stage and he was declared as proclaimed offender. He was arrested only after the trial against the co-accused was completed. Now the trial against the petitioner has proceeded and the evidence has been started. Not only that; the petitioner had been declared proclaimed person/offender in two

more cases of similar nature, as well.

4. In view of the above, this court does not find it appropriate

to interfere at this stage, so as to grant bail pending trial to the petitioner.
