By way of present petition, filed under Article 226 of the

Constitution of India, petitioner is seeking direction to respondent No. 1

to protect his life and liberty at the hands of respondent Nos. 2 to 5.

Another prayer made by petitioner is for producing of complete record in

relation to Complaint No. 1783316, dated 16.05.2020, alongwith all

inquiries conducted by the Incharge, C.A.W. & C. Cell, Ludhiana, and

the SIT.

Learned State counsel on instructions from ASI Shokeen

Singh, states that all the complaints moved by respondent No. 5 - Ria

Nanda, who is wife of the petitioner, were inquired into and since no

substance was found therein, the same have been filed. He further states

that as of now no other complaint is pending for its inquiry/investigation,

having been filed by respondent No. 5, except of one complaint filed by

the petitioner against his wife - respondent No. 5, for taking action under

PRASHANT KAPOOR 2023.01.10 17:22 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment

Section 182 IPC against her.

In view of the stand taken by learned State counsel, Mr.

Gurcharan Dass, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission of

this Court to withdraw present petition, at this stage.

Dismissed as withdrawn, as this stage.
