1 By way of present petition filed under Article 226 of

the Constitution of India, petitioners are seeking issuance of directions to

respondent No.2 to protect their life and liberty at the hands of respondents

No.3 to 6.

2 Notice of motion.

3 On the asking of the Court, Mr. Luvinder Sofat, DAG, Punjab

accepts notice on behalf of the official respondents. 4 As per the petitioners, they have married on 15.12.2023 against the wishes of respondents No.3 to 6, who happen to be the family members/ relatives of petitioner No.1-Gitanjali Sharma @ Gitanjali Khan. 5 Both the petitioners have claimed themselves to be major relying upon their Aadhar Cards indicating that petitioner No.1- Gitanjali Sharma @ Gitanjali Khan is 12.01.2005 born and petitioner No.2-Money Khan is 21.06.1996 born.

6 Without commenting on the legality and validity of the marriage, I deem it appropriate to direct respondent No.2 to look into the representation dated 16.12.2023 (Annexure P-5) submitted by the petitioners.

? Keeping in view the fact that both the petitioners claim to have married, I think that if possible, respondent No.2 may call a meeting of the petitioners as well as respondents No.3 to 6 in his presence, so that the

parties get rid off their ill feelings and live amicably.

8 The petition stands disposed off.
