Present petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for

quashing of FIR No.9 dated 22.01.2012 (P-1), under Sections 323, 324, 427,

452, 506, 148 read with Section 149 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860,

registered at Police Station, Division No.2, District Pathankot along with all

consequential proceedings arising therefrom on the basis of compromise

dated 28.08.2023 (P-4), arrived at between the parties.

(2) Perusal of the paper-book reveals that both the petitioners were

convicted and sentenced vide judgment and order dated 06.07.2019 (P-2),

passed by learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Pathankot and an

appeal thereagainst is stated to be pending before learned Additional

Sessions Judge, Pathankot.

(3) In view of the above, this Court is not inclined to entertain the

present petition.

(4)          Disposed off accordingly.

(5)          However, petitioners would be at liberty to make submissions

regarding compromise dated 28.08.2023 (supra) before learned appellate

Court and there would be no harm if the same is considered in the interest of

justice.

(6) Pending application(s), if any, shall also stand disposed off.
