The present petition has been filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India for releasing petitioners on parole for a period of eight weeks in case FIR No.190, dated 20.11.2016 under Sections 307, 324, 323, 326, 201, 148 and 149 IPC, 1860 registered at P.S. Division No.5, Jalandhar.

Learned counsel for the State (on advance notice), appears and files reply in Court today by way of affidavit of Kulwant Singh, Superintendent, Central Jail, Kapurthala on behalf of respondents No.4 and 5. Same is taken on record subject to just exceptions. Copy thereof has been supplied to learned counsel for the petitioners.

Learned counsel for petitioners, at this stage, seeks permission to withdraw the present petition seeking parole of petitioners.
