Instant writ petition has been filed under Article 226/227 of the

Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus

directing the respondents to consider the petitioner for the post of group C

against the post reserved for the eligible sports person as the petitioner is of

holding the Sports Grade Certificate of C-11 category issued by the

competent authority in terms of the government instruction dated

30.11.1993, Annexure P-4.

In view of the judgment dated 09.10.2020 passed by a Division

Bench of this Court in LPA-1332-2019, against which SLPs have been

dismissed, counsel for the petitioner submits that the petition has become

infructuous.

Dismissed as having been rendered infructuous.
