Instant writ petition has been filed under Article 226/227 of the
Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus
directing respondents No.3 and 4 to issue the Sports Gradation Certificate to
the petitioner at the earliest without any further delay on account of his
achievements in the sports as per his entitlement in terms of the Government
instructions/sports policy dated 30.11.1993 and 25.05.2018, Annexures P-12
and P-13, respectively.
In view of the judgment dated 09.10.2020 passed by a Division
Bench of this Court in LPA-1332-2019, against which SLPs have been
dismissed, counsel for the petitioner submits that the petition has become
infructuous.
Dismissed as having been rendered infructuous.
