1. Prayer in the petition is for initiating proceedings against the

respondent for intentional and willful defiance of order, Annexure P-1,

dated 02.03.2020 in CWP-18253-2009 and other connected petitions.

2. Learned counsel contends that grievance of the petitioner in

the instant petition was with regard to illegal construction being carried

out by respondent No.1 in derogation of the judgment of this Court in

CWP-18253-2009 and other connected petitionsand indifference of the

official respondents to the same.

3. Learned Sr. Standing counsel has filed reply on behalf of UT.

Chandigarh and contends that on the basis of inspection carried out by the

competent authority, the official respondents have demolished the illegal

construction not only of respondent No.1 but also of the petitioner. The

same is taken on record. Copy thereof supplied to learned counsel for the

petitioner, who on perusal thereof states that in view of the illegal

construction of respondent No.1 having been demolished, the petitioner

does not wish to pursue the instant petition.

4. Accordingly, in view of the position noted above, as well as

statement of learned counsel for the petitioner, the instant petition is

disposed of as not calling for any action against the respondents under the

Contempt of Courts Act, 1971.
