Instant petition has been filed under Section 482 of the Code of
Criminal Procedure, 1973 seeking quashing of FIR No.188 dated
06.09.2018, registered for offences under Sections 323, 34, 406, 498-A and
506 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, at Police Station Women Jind, District
Jind, Annexure P-1, along with all subsequent proceedings arising
therefrom.
Status report by way of an affidavit of Deputy Superintendent of
Police, Jind-Headquarters, District Jind has been filed on behalf of State-
respondent No.1, which is taken on record.
On the basis of status report, State counsel submits that the
petitioners have been acquitted by the Trial Court vide judgment dated
02.03.2020, Annexure R-1, and the petition has become infructuous.
Dismissed as having been rendered infructuous.
