Instant petition has been filed under Section 482 of the Code of
Criminal Procedure, 1973 seeking quashing of FIR No.249 dated
28.02.2018, registered for offences under Sections 34, 376 (2) and 506 of the
Indian Penal Code, 1860 and Section 8 of the Protection of Children from
Sexual Offences Act, 2012, at Police Station Panipat City, District Panipat,
Annexure P-1, along with all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom.
Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petition has become
infructuous as the petitioner has been acquitted vide judgment dated
22.07.2021.
Dismissed as having been rendered infructuous.
