At the outset, Ms. Baani Chhibber Mahajan, Advocate has stated that she has been appointed as legal aid counsel on behalf of the respondent in pursuance of the order passed by this court dated 23.01.2019. She submitted that the present petition has been filed seeking quashing of criminal complaint No.COMI-241-1 of 2016 instituted on 21.03.2016 CIS No. COMI/55/2016 titled 'Pardeep Kumar versus Geeta Rani'. She submitted that thereafter the complaint itself has been dismissed as withdrawn by the respondent and the petitioner namely, Geeta Rani has been discharged vide order dated 06.10.2021. She has also supplied the photocopy of the order dated 06.10.2021 passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate, Ist Class, Bhiwani in this regard. The aforesaid photocopy of the order is taken on record and marked as 'X'.

In view of the aforesaid position, nothing survives in the

present petition and therefore, the same is hereby dismissed.
